Tour and tasting in Monte Isola, Lake Iseo’s jewel

Food Experience in the outstanding setting of Monte Isola, one of the Most beautiful small towns in Italy and Lake Iseo’s jewel.
The meeting point is at the Sale Marasino ferry departure dock. From there, the boat will take us on an exciting transfer of about 10 minutes which will enable participants to admire the picturesque villages of Monte Isola on the lake shore and the marvellous mountains that surround the lake.

The experience includes:

• Visit to the only oil mill on the island, by the lake, and walk through a private olive grove with a local producer;
• Sensory tasting of Monte Isola’s excellent extra virgin olive oil, known for its high quality and unique characteristics;
• Exclusive Monte Isola sardine workshop with the only producer who still uses the old drying technique and has become a “Slow Food Presidium”;
• Lunch on a wonderful terrace overlooking the lake in one of the best restaurants on the island, with a four-course menu featuring dried sardine with polenta, pasta with lake fish, catch of the day, fried fish and side, sherbet, and coffee.
