Every year in August the Bienno Market Exhibition returns to Valle Camonica!

The event has its setting in the small medieval village of Bienno, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, and is the point of reference for all those who wish to taste life in small villages discovering ancient traditions.

Art and Craft at the Bienno Market Exhibition

Bienno embodies the incredible charm of a suggestive Roman settlement, with small streets, wonderful courtyards, and ancient cellars following one another in perspectives rich in colors and eye-catching views: a succession of enchanting glimpses that will leave both adults and children open-mouthed.

On the occasion of the exhibition, the courtyards, streets, and squares of Bienno come alive with various forms of art and the beauty of ancient crafts. The public is given the chance to cherish sculptors, painters, and craftsmen, all at work in their workshops to give life to one-of-a-kind artifacts and provide an unexpected dive into the past.

Bienno: how to get there and organize your visit

To reach the Bienno Market Exhibition, take the SS42 northbound towards Edolo / Ponte di Legno and southbound towards Pisogne / Brescia. Exit at Esine and follow the signs.

A large parking lot is provided in the town’s industrial area: from there you can walk (about 15 minutes) or use the shuttle service (€2 per person, round trip).

The visit begins from the slopes of the village, on a route that winds through the streets of the town and that each visitor can choose at will. Those who wish to eat on site can take advantage of the food stands with the best local table offerings.
