1. Castello Quistini (Rovato)

A splendid ancient mansion built in 1560 as a fortified residence, Quistini Castle still bears the marks of its important past, including the unusual walls in the shape of an irregular pentagon, the defensive towers and a four-story tower.

In May and June Castello Quistini opens its doors to the public, giving the chance to visit its wonderful gardens, which boast one of the most remarkable rose collections in the world with more than 1,000 specimens.

2. Isola del Garda (San Felice del Benaco)

A place of immense beauty, rich in history and enhanced by priceless views that only Lake Garda can offer.

We are on the Isola del Garda, a short walk from the shores of San Felice del Benaco, where an impressive Venetian neo-Gothic style villa built in the 19th century is embellished with Italian and English hanging gardens and a centuries-old park with species from different parts of the world.

3. Castello di Bornato (Cazzago San Martino)

Among the oldest fortresses in Franciacorta, the Bornato Castle stands in a panoramic position among vineyards and rolling hills. Within its walls is Villa Orlando, a rare example of a Renaissance villa built inside a medieval castle.

The villa’s astonishing frescoed rooms, Italian garden, ancient wine cellar, secret grotto, small church and sacristy with the relevant collection of sacred books from the 18th century are the focus of guided tours and events held throughout much of the year. Concluding each tour is a tasting of Franciacorta wines produced by the castle’s own winery.

4. Palazzo Monti della Corte (Corte Franca)

A magnificent private mansion surrounded by the stunning English garden and the elegant vineyards of Franciacorta, Monti della Corte Palace was a valuable point of reference for the community, politics and the territory over the centuries and was frequented by prominent intellectuals.
