The Mille Miglia Museum is set in a splendid former Benedictine monastery in the area of Sant’Eufemia, east of the city centre.

This museum is not only an attraction for enthusiasts of vintage cars and the famous Mille Miglia race, but is also popular for visitors of all ages, who find themselves stepping back in time to a long-gone age, preserved in the museum with the very greatest care.

Mille Miglia Museum: a wonderful tour of vintage cars

Mille Miglia Museum was opened in 2004 and showcases vintage cars in a carefully organised, easy to navigate exhibition.

Upon entry, visitors find themselves immersed in the atmosphere of times gone by. A useful audio-guide tablet provides audio and visual information on the various sections of the museum. The tour continues through the gallery of priceless vintage cars built between 1927 and the 1960s, a section dedicated to contemporary Mille Miglia races, and a vast array of memorabilia, including photographs, posters, road signs, and even petrol pumps.

The Mille Miglia Museum never fails to amaze: the vintage cars are replaced in cycles so they can take part in different events, including the famous Mille Miglia race, which starts right here in Brescia.

The museum is managed by the Associazione Museo della Mille Miglia Città di Brescia. In addition to the exhibition tour, there is a historic archive on the race, now fully digitised, a restaurant, the museum shop, and meeting and conference rooms.
