Boario Thermal Springs

Just a few minutes from Lake Iseo, in a strategic location for touring the Mid and Upper Camonica Valley, we find the town of Darfo Boario Terme with, as the name indicates, the famous Boario Thermal Springs.

The recent redevelopment of the Terme di Boario included the addition of an enviable Wellness & Beauty Center, with two naturally heated indoor pools and one outdoor pool in contact with the surrounding nature, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, Mediterranean bath, salt room, emotional showers, Kneipp path and relaxation area.

Guests are provided with water, herbal teas and snacks, and the price includes the welcome kit (bathrobe, slippers, cap).

Terme di Boario: from history to today

The Boario Thermal Springs date back over 150 years! Accessible also via convention with the Italian National Health Service, until the 1990s they were a popular destination for people from all over the country and even further afield, seeking spa therapy both by inhalation and ingestion.

In recent years, the Boario Thermal Springs have been completely renovated, expanding their offering. Today, the center continues to be an important reference for bodily care and also offers an amazing spa circuit, areas for rehabilitation and physiotherapy and speciial options for children.

For some years now, the Boariao Thermal Springs have been home to the European Parkinson Therapy Centre, which specializes in pharmacological treatment for Parkinson sufferers.

Terme di Boario: tourism and strategic location

The Boario Thermal Springs are set in a beautiful park that is both welcoming and quiet. The centre can be easily reached by car along the SS42 in the direction of Tonale, by train on the Brescia – Edolo line (Boario Terme station) departing from the city or from the upper valley, and by bus from Bergamo or Milan.

For anyone looking to combine body care, relaxation and a bit of sightseeing, we recommend Lake Iseo (15 minutes), Ponte di Legno and the Tonale ski resort (70-80 minutes), all served by public transport.
