#Domenicalmuseo, free admissions to museums with the initiative by MiBac
#Domenicalmuseo, the initiative promoted by MiBac, is back! On the first Sunday of the month visitors are given free access to hundreds of museums, state archaeological sites, and places of culture throughout Italy!
Among these, as many as 9 sites belong to the province of Brescia: find out which ones!
#Domenicalmuseo: the places in Brescia that can be visited for free
From Rock Art UNESCO World Heritage sites in Valle Camonica to the precious archeological finds of Desenzano del Garda, from the Minerva Shrine in Breno to the Grottoes of Catullus in Sirmione, Brescia is among the top provinces in northern Italy for the number of places open for free.
A heritage of inestimable value is increasingly under the spotlight of international tourism. Here is the list of the 9 places in Brescia involved in the #domenicalmuseo initiative:
- MUPRE – National Museum of Prehistoric Valle Camonica;
- Valle Camonica National Archeological Museum;
- Massi di Cemmo National Archeological Park;
- Cividate Camuno Theater and Amphiteater Archeological Park;
- Naquane Rock Engravings National Park;
- Minerva Shrine in Breno;
- Scaligeri Castle of Sirmione;
- Grottoes of Catullus and Archaological Museum in Sirmione;
- Roman Villa and Antiquarium in Desenzano.
Some locations can only be visited by reservation.
